1 Tim 2:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Odd that God would save sinners and do it in a way that required so much effort and sacrifice. Think about it? Why not save the righteous? Surely they, if you could find them, are the ones that would be the most acceptable and deserving of salvation.
And why not find an easy way to save sinners? Christ’s blood bought salvation was a high price to pay. Surely He could have found an alternative path, He who has no limits of power, presence, or knowledge.
Yet amazingly our God chose to save sinners by way of Calvary.
Let us give thanks and give praise to the great God we serve!
